Checklist to Deactivate an Admin

If an admin or mod is departing, follow this guide. You will need an existing administrator to follow this checklist.

(Tech Team) If they have "blade" access-

  • remove SSH keys from hosts

(Tech Team) If they have registry access-

  • reset domain registrar password
  • reset hosted web services password

(Mod Team) If they are a GitLab admin-

  • remove their admin role. (Do this by going into the profile.)

(Mod Team) If they are a RocketChat admin-

  • remove their admin and moderator roles
